"The fight against single use plastic is one that I’m very passionate about. I think it would be really easy for people to make a few small changes which could ultimately make a huge difference to the amount of plastic thrown away every day. I love to travel and I’ve been lucky enough to visit some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but on many occasions had to share the white sands with discarded straws, packaging and bottles.

I try and limit the amount of single use plastic I use, but it’s becoming apparent to me that this is easier said than done. Single use plastic is everywhere and I can’t just sit back and do nothing about it. I want to help educate others on careless use of plastic and how we can all do our bit to reduce plastic waste; this is why I am a Plastic Free Pledge Ambassador."
